Spring Break Festivities

Andy had a final on April 1, and then he was free for a WHOLE WEEK!!! I love spring break. We started off the fun when Geri, Cindy, Dawna and Linn came down to visit us! They got into town on Thursday night. We went shopping at World Market, out to breakfast, and we had a great movie night at Addi's and Blake's. They are so much fun! Unfortunately, I neglected to document with photos. Sorry. Geri, Cindy and Dawna drove back on Sunday, and the rest of us had a great day of General Conference. On Monday, Blake took us to Saguaro Lake to do some boating! It had hit 100 over the weekend, so we figured it would still be plenty warm to go boating. Not the case. It was pretty chilly for the first hour or so that we were up there. It got warmer, but not warm enough to tempt me to get into the cold lake water! Andy was brave enough to go in a wetsuit so the boys could have a ride on the tube. They had a great time!

We hung out for the next couple of days, and on Wednesday, Andy and I flew up to Las Vegas and took the shuttle to St. George to spend the rest of the week. My Mom and Dad drove down super early Thursday morning to meet us and hang out! Bobbie and Soph were also down there with her fam, and we were way excited to be able to spend some time with them as well! We went golfing twice, despite the sketchy weather that St. George had for most of the weekend, and did quite well, I might add. Well...good enough for not having golfed in the last three years. We went and saw a couple of movies, met up with some old friends from B-town for dinner at the Pizza Factory, played lots of games, and Mom taught me how to make bread! It was way fun. It's always so much fun to see family. We were so lucky to be able to spend time with so much of our family over spring break! Hooray for breaks from school! Can't wait for the next one!

Dear Andy,

Thank you so much for riding on the tubes with us. You are a good uncle.
